Merry Christmas!
On this Christmas Eve we wanted to send our friends and family a message of love and our best wishes for a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year in 2009.
How awesome we all are to have our Father God love us so much that He sent us the Perfect Christmas gift; His Son, Jesus. His gift is a one size fits all! No returns! (Especially to our old lives.) A gift that fills us up completely with joy, peace, kindness, grace, mercy, and most importantly, love.
Love; the gift we all so desperately search for and need. How did God know that is exactly what we needed? How did He know that the hole we had inside of us, could not be filled with anything else on this earth except His Love? The answer is simple; Because He is God. "Be still, and know I am God." Psalms 46:10.
Our prayer for you this Christmas and for 2009 is that you will seek Him for guidance, lean on Him when you don't understand, trust Him with all your heart, cast all your concerns unto Him, and know, really know, that He LOVES YOU! No matter what you have done, no matter where you are in your life, no matter how shameful you feel, no matter what your sin is, God Loves YOU! God sent us His perfect gift, His son Jesus, so that we could be forgiven.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son. Whoever believes in Him, will not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
Jesus was sent to earth to take away our shame, our guilt, and our sins so that we could have a relationship with our Father, God. Jesus is the perfect gift! If you haven't asked for forgiveness for your sins and asked Christ into your heart, we pray that you do so. Your life will be changed for the better. The hole that you seek to fill with worldly things will be filled with His love, the perfect gift, Jesus.
We both know and have experience this in our own lives, and pray that all of you will experience this in yours.
We sincerely hope that this Christmas you will receive the Perfect Gift. We also pray that your 2009 will be wonderfully blessed!
With Love,
Curtis & Robyn
